🌿 Welcome to Get Dyper — Where Motherhood Meets the Ledger

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’re a mom (or parent) trying to hold it all together — the snacks, the laundry, your health, the invoices, and maybe even your sanity. It’s hard finding a calm moment to re-center yourself with a very hectic daily schedul.e

I know how it feels. Because I’m living it, too.

🍼 How It All Started

“Get Dyper” began as a joke between me and my husband. One day, buried under diapers and deadlines, I said,

“If I can balance the baby budget and a client’s books, I can balance anything.”

The name stuck — but what it really represents is something deeper:
finding calm and purpose in the messy middle of parenting and productivity.

This blog is my space to share what I’ve learned (and am still learning) about building a small bookkeeping business from home while raising little ones who think your laptop is a coloring book.

🧾 What You’ll Find Here

This isn’t another “perfect mom” site or a business blog filled with buzzwords.
It’s practical, personal, and peaceful.

You’ll find:

  • Kid-friendly routines that give you focused work blocks (and sanity breaks)
  • Bookkeeping templates and workflows made for freelancers and moms starting out
  • Meal and home systems that keep things running without burnout
  • Mindset shifts to help you stop feeling behind

Basically — it’s a mix of real life and real spreadsheets.

💡 Why I Believe in Simplicity

In both parenting and business, I’ve learned that more isn’t better — simple is sustainable.

When you strip away the noise, there’s space for what matters:

  • A morning coffee before the chaos.
  • Ten quiet minutes to reconcile your books.
  • A few extra moments to play without your mind racing through to-dos.

That’s what I want Get Dyper to be — a reminder that you can build something beautiful from home without running yourself into the ground.

🧘 Join Me on the Journey

Every week, I’ll be sharing:

  • Short reads (because nap time never lasts long enough)
  • Free tools and templates for your home business
  • Stories and encouragement from moms doing the same thing you are

If that sounds like the kind of calm you need in your inbox, join the Nap-Time Newsletter.
You’ll get a weekly note with one routine tip, one bookkeeping idea, and one simple recipe — all doable in under 15 minutes.

From One Mom to Another

I don’t have it all figured out. But I’ve built a rhythm that works — most days.
And if I can help you build yours, then Get Dyper is doing what it’s meant to.

Thanks for being here, friend.
Here’s to balance, bamboo, and believing that even small steps count.

Jill, Founder of Get Dyper
